Combi Roadbase
The roadbase is designed to transport your trolley and dinghy to the water. The roadbase never goes into the water so they remain low maintenance throughout their life. The Mersea roadbase is strong, rigid and corrosion resistant thanks to its galvanised steel construction. There is an adjustable centre pin on the roadbase to lock into your Mersea Launching trolley.
All roadbases come with a certificate of conformity, a rear roller to aid recovering the trolley, LED width markers, adjustable lighting board stays with 6ft lighting board and a mast rack support. They are available with 8” and 10” wheels. The 8” model ensures it is easy to recover the launching trolley because the rear is lower. The 10” model is still very easy to use and it tows better due to its larger wheels – ideal for longer towing distances. The Roadbases are available from 190cm to 360cm.

Mersea trailers offers the largest range of launching trolleys. They are made from galvanised steel and all have non-marking rubber sections for support or even foam support on some models. The range starts with the standard launching trolley. This is designed to be adjustable to fit any boat – ideal if you have more than one. There are also dinghy specific trolleys that have custom supports to hold your dinghy at its strongest point. An example is the gunwale hung laser trolley. The next option would be to have custom made GRP and foam supports that are made to the exact shape of your hull to support the boat in the best way possible. The range starts from 190cm and goes through to 360cm with over 60 trolleys in between.
